History
Kesha was born on 1 November 1987 in Nashville, Tennessee,[1] but currently resides in Los Angeles, California. She is a singer/songwriter who recently signed to the RCA/JIVE Label Group.[1][2] She is currently working with producers Dr. Luke and Max Martin on her debut album, due to be released in late 2009.[1]

Kesha has been credited for background vocals in "Lace and Leather" by Britney Spears and "Right Round" by Flo Rida;[3] is featured in Katy Perry's "I Kissed a Girl" music video; co-wrote The Veronicas' "This Love";[4] and has had two songs featured on MTV's The Hills "BackStabber" & "Chain Reaction". She is also currently working on a collaboration album with the band 3OH!3.[1]
