There are some rumours floating about inside SONY HQ that
Christina will leave
RCA later this year after her manager
Irving Azoff secured her a new multimillion pound contract with
Live Nation. Details have yet to be finalized.
Nothing is official yet and as we reported this week, it’s believed
Christina will no longer plug
Bionic because she plans to put all focus into ‘
Burlesque’. In fact, she has even started working on new music for the movie. This was also confirmed by Live Nation chairman
Irving Azoff (her manager).
There has also been speculation that the 29-year-old has clashed with her label over the direction of her project. This is not really that hard to believe considering that a lot of the people she gushed about and remained loyal to did not make the project.
The Neptunes and
Dj Premier all worked on the project but their tracks never made the cut. If this rumour in deed true, hopefully, it will enable her to record an album where she remains true to herself as an artist. Bionic was not a very good representation of that sadly, and we can only hope good things are to come from the impending move.
