Я как раз впервые услышал её случайно на ЛастФМ, очень заинтересовался и тут вспомнил про эту недавнюю тему. Послушал пару альбомов - это что-то! Такая у неё мощная энергетика, столько экспрессии, я в восторге! Потрясная тётка

да, артиста самобытнее Нины вообще не знаю)
хотя большой вклад в её экспрессию вероятно дало биполярное расстройство, обнаруженное у Симон в середине 60х, но общественность узнала об этом только через год после ее смерти (в 2004м)...а так на протяжении десятилетий видимо все "странности" списывали на сложность характера

послушай ещё отэту песню
вслушавшись в лирику становится не по себе от того, про что она поет
Alone Again Naturally
но никто не смог бы это исполнить так, как Нина

мне больше всего нравятся Black Is the Color of My True Love's Hair, ну и засэмплированная Sinnerman
